University of Arkansas Announces Addition of Women's Hockey Club

Fayetteville, AR - The University of Arkansas recently announced the creation of a women's hockey club. Beginning play in the 2024-25 season, the Razorbacks will be joining Division II of the American Collegiate Hockey Association. The ACHA is the premier national association for non-NCAA Collegiate Hockey throughout the United States.
Arkansas will be breaking ground as the first SEC university to field a women's ice hockey team in the ACHA. Razorback Women's Hockey will call The Jones Center for Families in Springdale, AR home for practices and games. Capitalizing on the growth of women's hockey around the world, Arkansas aims to be a pioneer for women's hockey. With a goal of growing the game, women's hockey expects to be champions in the community by interacting with non-profits and charities in the area. Playing a competitive 16-22 game schedule, the Razorbacks intend to uphold the winning reputation of the University.
The University of Arkansas Women’s Hockey team plays in the American Collegiate Hockey Association. The 2024-25 season will be the team’s first season as a member of the ACHA competing in Division II. The team’s schedule can be viewed here. All home games are played at The Jones Center for Families in Springdale, AR.
