The Arkansas Razorbacks are excited to announce that defender Keani Rodriguez has committed to the University of Arkansas for the 2025-26 season. Rodriguez comes to Arkansas from Frisco, TX and the Prosper Ice Hockey Club. She plans to pursue a pre-med degree.

Keani originally lived in California and got into hockey by going to Anaheim Ducks games. She started in figure skating, but soon switched to hockey after watching her brother's hockey games. "I chose Arkansas because of the great camaraderie the school has and the beauty of the campus and the state. I also chose Arkansas because I get to continue playing the sport I love!" Rodriguez has also been a part of the Dallas Stars Elite Tier 1 organization for multiple years.

The University of Arkansas Women’s Hockey team plays in the American Collegiate Hockey Association. The 2024-25 season will be the team’s first season as a member of the ACHA competing in Division II. The team’s schedule can be viewed here. All home games are played at The Jones Center for Families in Springdale, AR.
